Sitting 111: Those we can help

As we walk through our life whether it be on the earth or on the spirit levels we are often brought into contact with those whom we are able to assist in their progress and also those who are in a position to help us on our way through our learning.

There are many ways in which we can be helped and it is not always by someone of a higher level who can teach us. Many of our siblings, even those who are not so advanced as we may be, can and do teach us by their actions and examples and though they may not realise that they have been instrumental in helping us, they often show us a better way than ours.

This is one of the things which we must learn to accept. i.e. that we should never pass another’s methods as inconsequential to our way of thinking or doing things for their way may, in the long run, be more beneficial to our advancement.

Everyone is different and they are all going their own different way, some of them minutely and some of them drastically different according to what they wish to achieve and this, we must remember, is how things should be. You are after all the master of your own destiny but if you can learn from others then your journey will be smoother and more productive than by just doing it your way.

Those who are dogmatic on the earth are probably, but not always, learning an important lesson but those who are dogmatic in the spirit realms are simply holding themselves back.
