Sitting 115: Mixing with other levels
As you walk the earth life you meet many kindred spirits who are on a par with you and you usually become friends with them, some as a passing friendship, some as in a neighbourly fashion, some as close friends, and others as lifetime friends. On the other side of the coin there are those whom you like to keep at a distance, and those whom you keep away from at all costs. Have you ever wondered why you have these seemingly unfounded feelings of friendship and dislike of people that you do not know. We would draw your attention once again to one of the reasons you are upon the earth plane and that is so that you can meet and mix with those spirits who are on different levels of evolvement. You need to learn to accept and communicate with those who are on the various levels of spirit so that you can take them for what they are without any feelings of inferiority or rancour and learn to accept them just as you would your closest friend. You must, in fact, learn to accept them exactly as you would like them to accept you. You will find it necessary as you progress to accept everyone in the same happy manner because on the one hand you will have those on a higher level of evolution teaching you and guiding you through your own progression, and on the other hand you will wish to help and assist those of a lower level who wish to advance themselves up towards your level.
This is one of the driving forces of spirit life which affect all of us. We all of us wish to make progress in our unfoldment and we all wish to see our siblings progress in their unfoldment and the desire to assist them is quite strong and the more we progress then the stronger this feeling gets. We know that there are those on the earth who wouldn’t lift a finger to help someone in trouble and they seem to do quite well for themselves, but you are on the earth plane and for the earth plane and a few levels of spirit around it you have a different set of rules and perspectives, so that you may encompass all of the aspects of the physical state, otherwise you would be unable to assist others in their progress.
A teacher without experience is no teacher at all.
