Sitting 120: Guides and helpers

We would speak to you tonight dear brother of the Guides and Helpers who are with you during your life on earth.

When you decide to return to the earth for another incarnation you know that you will need various Guides to assist you on your pathway. You therefore arrange with others who are willing and eager to serve you during this time. There are also others who walk with you for various periods of your time here, some come for one specific lesson whilst others will be with you for things like your steadfastness or your resolve or determination and your patience.

Each of these things are necessary for your spiritual unfoldment as you develop your various aspects in your progression to higher realms.

You also have helpers who draw close to assist in your development and who are also with you so that you can give them the chance to experience the work of guidance which they need in order that they may become Guides to others.

Though your guides come with you in a particular mode, i.e. as a monk or doorkeeper etc. during this life they are well accomplished to act in other mode’s and may have been with you on other occasions in other lives, just as you may have been their Guide at some time.

Many of you have the misconception that all of your guides are spiritually advanced to your own level but we would point out that this is not always the case and that a part of your learning is acting as guides to those who are on the same level of progress as yourself. There are, of course, guides who come down to assist those on the earth plane who are on a higher level than those whom they come to assist but for the most part your guides are your companions who are on the same level as yourself.
