Sitting 125: Rituals of worship

Once again we join together in love and in truth and we would speak tonight of the rituals which people devise so that they can draw closer to their ideals in their worship of our beloved Creator. Many times we come upon the rituals of the religions and when we meet someone who is new to them we find that the emotions generated by them are beautiful to behold and experience. The display of colours and music generated at these times is truly wonderful. There are others of course who consider these rituals to be something which you do for the benefit of others who are watching.

In these cases it is the same as the insincere prayer where no upliftment is generated because of their insincerity and no one from the spiritual side of life is taking any notice. If you cannot be sincere in your prayers or your rituals then you cannot be spiritually lifted by them and no one will notice what you are doing. There are even those on the physical side who will recognise your insincerity and who will recoil from it. In the spiritual worlds we can always tell, from the Aura, when someone tells lies and the same thing applies when you repeat rituals or prayers without meaning them. Yes dear friend we can always tell because though you are on the earth we do not see your body, we only see your spirit and the Aura of your spiritual bodies, so we can tell at a glance if you are sincere or not. We can if we wish alter our perception so that we can see your body but it is the same as you meeting someone and only noticing their clothes whilst ignoring the person inside them.
