Sitting 127: The fruits of our labours

Beloved brother we are with you once again in love and in truth and tonight we would talk of the fruits of our labours. We who labour on the spiritual plane are much more fortunate in our circumstances when we toil at our labour of love to those on the spiritual planes and on the physical plane. We do not, of course, actually come down to the physical plane but we do come to the etheric level in our contact with you where we can interface mentally with your physical mind thereby raising your mentality to our level.

When we begin working with you we have to work with you and on you until you become proficient in the art of communicating with your higher spiritual mind.

The more you practise the easier it becomes until you reach the level that we wish you to attain. Once you have reached this level you continue to practise even though you are working with us for the more you work with us the better the results that you obtain. You often wonder why you are unable to exercise the gifts that other mediums have attained and why you have been unable to progress to a higher level of mediumship than you have.

What you would like to do and what you can do are finely balanced by many circumstances which are governed by the outside influences of your life. You yourself should know that the objections of those close to you to your spiritual work made vast changes to the path that you took and the path that you should have taken. The words that you write should have been spoken from the platform first and written down later.

We place no blame anywhere concerning this change for we have already said that everyone has free will and if a persons free will changes someone’s path then so be it. It is not the end of the world, it is not a catastrophe, it is merely a change in the way things were done, and in the end will make no difference to the end result.
