Sitting 129: Forgiveness
Beloved friend we would draw close again with our love that we may speak to you of forgiveness and the part which you can play in helping those whom you should forgive.
Yes we would seem to have got it wrong when we ask you to help those whom you should forgive but we hear so many times of those who should forgive but never of those who should be forgiven. The fact of their transgression against you may be either a deliberate act or an involuntary or innocent act, and it matters not to you which of these it is. Your initial reaction to their act will be shock or anger, and this we might add is a natural feeling, but your following feelings should begin to grow on you as feelings of pity as well as love and forgiveness towards them whether they are physically close or far away. We know that it is hard to feel kindly to someone who has been nasty to you but please remember that your feelings will have an effect on them and will affect their future actions to both yourselves and others.
Remember dear friends that they, like you, will be paid for everything they do when they look over their past life so if you can help them to regret what they did then your thoughts may save them from building up further Karma in the future.
If you think of all life as being your spiritual siblings then you will come to think of any transgression as being the lessons to you which they are.
