Sitting 139: Love

Beloved brother once again we are together and we would speak to you of love and all that means to those who are on the earth. Many people have a deep love of their relations and also of their close friends but of the rest of the world they are uninterested and care not for the things which happen to them.

Others have a love only for themselves and for the most part have a rather lonely life. They are in a way to be pitied for it is no consolation to be self made or self reliant if you have no one to share it with and there is always the latter years of their life when there is no one there in time of need.

Then there are others who have a love of all life and their lives are full of friendships and the joys of helping those whom they meet each day. Nothing is too much bother to these people and the joy that they get from others is lovely to behold.

All of the different types of people we have mentioned have the basic form of love within them and though they are all exhibiting different aspects of love it is still love, and love in its many aspects is something which we will all experience in all its forms.

If you can realise that you must learn to love yourself and that you must learn to love everyone and everything else then you will have taken a great stride forward in your evolvement and you will also come to realise that the earth is not such a bad place after all.

Hard this life might be but with love there is always room to smile.
