Sitting 146: Serving those in spirit

There are those of us who, upon the earth, walk in the light, and there are others who walk in the darkness, and we would point out to you that either of these, our siblings, are in the position they should be in accordance with the pathway of their learning curve. It is not for anyone to select what others should be doing with their life, nor is anyone in a position to select what your goal in this life should be.

Before you come upon the earth you select the conditions of your life which will lead you to the best opportunity to learn the things which you wish to experience. If you manage to follow your learning curve during your incarnation then that is all to the good, but if you chance to stray onto other things then there is no real problem for what you do experience will be used to fulfil another aspect of yourself. Accordingly when this other aspect presents itself on the earth you will not need to spend so much time learning which means that you will either have a shorter life or you may choose to spend the extra time in service to others. It is also quite possible that you may serve others for the whole of your incarnation for there are many many ways that you can serve and most of them are serving those who are discarnate. Yes dear friends we know that most of you think that your service consists of serving those on earth but the range of your service to those who are in spirit far outweighs the service that you know about. Even those who have no spiritual knowledge whilst they are on the earth have the ability and the opportunity to help others during their sleep state, which is when you go Astral travelling and can then meet and assist your siblings. We would also, at this juncture, point out that there are some forms of service which you can only perform for discarnate spirits whilst you are in a physical body and those are for the most part on the very lowest levels of spirit.
