Sitting 151: Giving and receiving service

There are many levels of spirit residing on the physical plane and each one is committed to a course of learning in accordance with their needs as evolving spirits. One of these is the development of the skills of service to others which we need to include within ourselves if we are to get things right.

The types of service are infinite and we must, if we are to get a balanced view of the subject, learn them from the giving of service to the receiving of service so that all types are understood.

The real beauty of service is realised when it comes to the point when it is given without thought and naturally, with no thought as to why you have given it or even what difference it will make to you.

We have spoken to you of unthinking cruelty and we would point out that unthinking service is the opposite end of the scale for it can only come from love of all your siblings.
