Sitting 156: Choosing the right path
As we walk this physical life we come to many places where we need to decide which way to go and it is, at times, imperative that we choose the right path. There are no signposts at these junctions nor are there many indications to show us which road to take. Many of us fret and worry about our decisions in case we will take a wrong turning.
We would ask you to look back on your life and count up the times you think you made a wrong decision which did not teach you something which did not, eventually, lead to something important.
How many times have you made a right decision in your life only to find that the way you choose to go was full of pitfalls and snags, of mountains to be climbed and cliffs to be overcome.
Beloved friends we would point out to you that all of your tribulations, be they big or small, are set before you so that you may be strengthened in your character and in your resolve and in your love and devotion etc. etc. etc.
Life is to be lived in accordance with the rules of the land and also with the rules which you make for yourself. There is no other way to go if you are to fulfil your obligation to yourself during your life on this earth.
