Sitting 181: The eternal pathway

Beloved brother we would walk with you again for a little while for we would draw your attention to the eternal pathway of the spirits who walk the earth and we would point out that though you have a thinking logical brain which can work out many problems, which can build civilisations and can reach up for the stars, which can live with compassion and love for all kinds and types of life upon this earth. Yet you cannot accept that the important things in this earth life have nothing to do with what you are on this earth or what you will become, nor does it matter how you attain your goals or even if you attain them.

We hear your cries ‘Oh Lord why do you allow these things to happen’ and we weep at your anguish and frustration but we can do nothing to help and assist you in your times of need, nor can our Creator allow himself to be swayed into helping you because it would be breaking the one and only rule that exists which is that you and everyone else has free will to act exactly as they wish. We have explained this point before and we ask you again ‘ Would you rather not go through some unpleasant experience and by missing it fail to learn the message it brings and in doing so fail to become fully developed’.

We would put it another way and say. You’ll never learn to swim if you don’t get your feet wet’.
