Sitting 220: Love of living things

Beloved brother we would talk to you today of the beauty that is love of living things.

There is so much love on this earth of the things of the earth. Things which are to be left behind when the mortal coil of the earth is over but so many of you fail to recognise that this love of the earthly objects is as nothing to the living beings who reside upon the universal planes.

It is a natural thing for you to have fond memories of happy times spent with loved ones who have departed, not only from your earthly presence but also from the presence of the earth. The attachments to the objects of the earth can be quite strong if the person whom it recalls was loved very strongly but we would say that it should be realised that this attachment is only a reminder of happy times and that more lasting attachments should be made if you understand that by your thoughts you can attach yourself more to the one that you love than you can by being reminded of that person by an object which brings you closer to that person.

Recreate by all means the memories of those you love

Be drawn closer to them by the recollection of their presence.

But remember at all times that by sending your love to them, even though they are not physically present, you are connecting to them by mind and to the mind anything is possible and when you think of them they are actually here with you.
