Sitting 292: What matters in this life

Beloved Brother we would greet you with our love and would draw close that we may speak of the things which matter in this earth life. Many times we meet up with people who believe that they must do certain things and follow a certain path so that they will fulfil their destiny. For the most part this is so but do you not think that things must be guided by you so that it will come out right.

We guide you whether or not you have spiritual knowledge and can you honestly believe that you would take a different path if you walked a non spiritual path. There have been so many of you who have led a saintly life full of loving care who would never consider or wish to know about your spiritual ramifications. They would never consider entering a spiritual church or joining a spiritual organisation and yet they are kind and gentle and helpful to a fault. Do you think for an instant that they are any less spiritual than you are with your rules and regulations telling you what you should do and how you should do it. You act these ways to act correctly. They act the same way to follow their heart. We admire and respect both ways of doing things and would find no fault with either way, but you must admit that the easier way must be those who just follow their heart.

We have said before and we will say again that unthinking service is a divine act of the highest quality.
