Sitting 298: Family and friends

Beloved Brother we would speak to you again and we would bring to mind the love of family and friends.

The love of family does not always happen as most of us all understand it and there are times when feelings of hate replaces love. Many of you wonder why this is so and there are so many reasons for these feelings, some of them caused by jealousy, some of them being caused by being bullied as a young child by your siblings, there are even cases of incest and torture. Sometimes the reason is pure sadism and is caused by the pleasure of inflicting pain of both the younger members of the family and also of the parents. It is of course unacceptable that this pain should be caused by anyone to anyone but it is a fact of life that it occurs, and we would point out that it is very often arranged beforehand by your own spirit so that you may go through this pain.

Have you not heard from others that the lesson of pain is to be expected whilst on the physical plain, for where else would you experience pain except here on earth.

Without this experience of pain you would be spiritually lopsided in your progress through the levels of spirit and yes we know that for most people the thought that you come here to experience pain is contrary to what you think life on the earth is all about but then you are thinking with your physical brain.

If you can learn to think with your spiritual mind you will find that physical pain does not matter to the spirit except in so far as your lessons need to be addressed, and experienced.

Please remember that this is all that matters to your spiritual being.
