Sitting 316: Plant life
Beloved Brother it is with pleasure that we draw close to you again for we would speak tonight of the plant life.
Our siblings who are restricted in their movements and who must remain for their lifetime, locked by their roots, to learn the lessons which such a situation will teach them.
You who are able to travel about the earth have no conception of how it must feel to have catastrophes like fire and flood approaching you and be unable to get out of the way.
Think how it must feel to have your roots torn from the earth and left suspended in the dry unnatural air, causing your sap to dry up slowly until you die from the lack of food and water.
Or you suddenly find yourself being chopped up and devoured or even placed in a vase of water, unable to complete your life cycle to go to seed, that those who cut you down may admire the beauty of your colours.
Remember dear siblings that they knew how things might be when they chose to be a plant and that just as animals eat animals and plants, so you must eat animals and/or plants.
Otherwise you would not survive very long.
