Sitting 322: Prayer and the lack of it

Beloved Brother we would join you again for we would speak of your prayers and the lack of prayers by your siblings.

It is known that thoughts are living things and prayers are thoughts so it is natural that prayers are also living things and in the way that you pray so shall your prayers have a beneficial effect on those whom you pray for.

What we have just said would lead some to think that all prayers come true and would consequently expect also that all your prayers are always answered.

This, of course, doe’s not always happen and there are those who will immediately say that prayers are not answered.

We would say to you now that all prayers are answered, but, if your prayer will cancel out a lesson or experience which you need to go through then this requirement will alter or cancel your prayer.

We have said before that if you meet something which you can avoid, then think twice about avoiding it for if you do then you will be brought to and presented with the same problem so that you can gain the experience of it, and that, after all, is all that matters.
