Sitting 327: Plants of land and sea

Beloved Brother we are with you tonight in love and service for tonight we would speak of the plant life which grows profusely on the land and also in the sea.

There are certain things which we must all learn as we work our way through the various levels of our spiritual life and many of them require us to be docile and inactive as we grow to earthly maturity and into old age. The constant struggle which we have and the changes in environment which sometimes cripple our development are all lessons which we need to learn and experience.

We hear so many times the complaint of you humans that God would not allow you to deliberately suffer such things as having limbs or branches torn from you or eaten by other animals.

And yet you see these things happening every day.

God makes only one rule and that is that you have free will to develop yourself in any way you wish and if you need to develop in a certain way then you will arrange to go through the experiences which you need to, even if that pathway requires you to suffer pain.

It is your spirit which causes you to suffer this pain, not God.
