Sitting 336: The importance of service

Beloved Brother we are with you in love and service and we would point out that it is this service which is the most important part of our spiritual lives.

There is so many ways that we can serve and yet there are so few of us upon the earth who practise it. This is not something which we would complain about because upon the earth, very few of you practise spirituality and this is how it should be. You who are spiritually minded know that the right and proper thing to do is to give service to all but to those who are not on the spiritual pathway giving service to your enemy’s is Alien to all that you hold dear.

This is not to say that these feelings are wrong because it is your right and proper action to protect and assist those that you love and it is also your duty to do the best that you can for you and yours.

We know that by your spiritual standards this type of thinking is wrong but we repeat that for the un-spiritual it is the right thing to do for their ways, their paths, are so different and, we might add, so correct that you cannot find fault with their reasoning.

Accept their different standards and know that they are doing what they should be doing.
