Sitting 412: Serving the ailing

Beloved brother tonight we would speak of those who walk the path of service to those who are ailing and in need upon the physical plane. Many there are who labours all of their working lives to alleviate the suffering of our siblings and though most of them have no thoughts of the spiritual life they still follow the path of service to their fellow beings. How strange it must be for them to walk this path serving those who go to them for relief of their ailments and yet they have no thought of spirit or spiritual ways. They work for the pleasure of helping others, expecting no reward and yet their rewards will be great when they pass through the veil at the end of their life.

What none of them realize is that they are doing Gods work without knowing that they are doing it but their reward will be as much and even more than the spiritual healers who by their trade know what they are doing. God works in mysterious ways, for if you know something about his ways then you know why you should do it and be thankful for what you receive, but if you do not know his ways then the reward you receive will be greater than ever.
