Sitting 426: Treating those who need healing

Beloved Brother once again we are with you and we would speak tonight of the way to treat those who require healing. There are so many ways to give spiritual healing that we could never deal with all of them if you were to continue writing all night so let us deal with just a few of them.

The laying on of hands is the way most people think of healing but to be truthful it instigates so many different rules and conditions that much is lost in the process. Do not think that we find fault with this method for much good work can be done in this way but please remember that any condition that you make will detract from the healing itself. We have found that it is not a necessity to actually touch a person when you give healing as it will work just as well if the healer is in close proximity with the one who is receiving it. It works on the same principle as absent healing and works through the spirit instead of the actual body for if the spirit is healed so the body ailment will be healed.

It is for this same reason that sending your thoughts of love and goodwill also results in healing being sent to someone.

Your mind is powerful enough to do anything you wish it to do so do not hold back because you doubt your ability, it is better to have tried and lost than not to have tried at all.
