Sitting 444: Hatred in the heart

Beloved Brother we would speak tonight of those who have a hatred in their hearts for others, whether it be justified or not.

It is true that these feelings never seem to be justified or helpful either to the sender or recipient but we would disagree that they are not helpful for if you never send out these feelings and you never receive them then how are you going to experience them and if you do not experience them then how will you evolve yourself and become able to contend with your emotional anger or rejection of such feelings.

It is one thing to ignore the brickbats of your life or the uncontrolled emotions you feel at times but if you wish to attain unconditional love of all life then you must also learn to attain perfect control of all your emotions at all times.
