Sitting 479: The sick and suffering

Beloved Brother we are with you again that we may think of the sick and suffering.

People often wonder why God allows so much pain and as you study the subject it seems that there is so much illness to our lives that it is a wonder that any of our siblings will come here willingly. To be truthful there is a lot of pain to some of our lives but on the other hand there are many who seldom feel any pain at all. The trouble with people is that just as you remember the good times of the past and ignore the other times so you remember the pain and forget the other times.

What you must realise is that all of that pain teaches you in ways that you cannot learn otherwise and you must also remember that on the other spiritual planes you cannot experience pain except on the physical level so it must be expressed during your physical lives.

We know that at times it is hard to bear but it is something you need to know.
