Sitting 489: Others' problems as lessons
As we walk through this life we are met by various problems and these are not only of our own personal kind. Many problems of other people are presented to us so that we may look at them from another point of view and though we have no actual involvement in them we find that we are able to sort them out in our own way to our own satisfaction.
We know that the end result is not our concern but we would point out that the very action we have in sorting them out does, in its way, teach us how to deal with these difficulties and in doing so widens our experiences and teaches us lessons just as our own life teaches us.
Many things around us are made to occur within our domain so that we and others reap the benefit of them for though we may not reap the benefit in a physical sense we certainly learn from the brickbats and trip-ups of others that we know.
You must always remember that you have no idea what your lessons are, nor do you know when they will present themselves to you, but be prepared to help those that you can for their lesson might also be yours.
