Sitting 491: Those who claim to know God's ways

As we gather close it is time to think once again of those who consider themselves to know Gods ways and wishes. They are so convinced that their way is correct that some of them will attack all who say they are wrong.

When you meet these people who know that they have been told the word of God there is, unfortunately, nothing you can do about it for nothing that you say will alter their way of thinking and they will do their utmost to convince you that they are right and that you are heading for a place in hell.

We have said before that the only thing you can do is to agree with them, otherwise you will become their enemy, and they will do everything they can to put you out of their lives.

We would however suggest to you that in your time of meditation and prayers that you include them in these prayers that they be given spiritual help in the hope that they will eventually alter their perception and begin to understand that God is Only loving and kind who has no rules for them to follow except the one which says Love thy neighbours as thyself.
