Sitting 508: No service is trivial

Beloved Brother we would gather again that all those who look for enlightenment will learn and grow from our service.

We would talk tonight about the act of service and how those who think that their work is a trivial thing which has little effect on those whom they wish to assist.

The little things that you do to help others act like drops of rain in the lives of these people, and we include in this all of the animals and plants, and like the rain the acts that you do gather together to form streams and rivers which accumulate to form great lakes of help which changes peoples lives and in turn lead those who are assisted to do good deeds to those around them.

All these actions in themselves lift the general tone of peoples lives which makes them happier in their lives which in turn raises the tone of everyone’s life so you see that your actions makes life happier for all and sundry. Now do you still think that your little actions have no effect upon your siblings or the general state of their lives.
