Sitting 516: Belief without worship

Beloved Brother as we gather this evening we would think of those who know that there is a God but who cannot find it within themselves to give any thought to worshiping their Creator.

There are always times when these siblings desire to worship our Father and we wonder very often why they do not do so for it would change their lives and make them so much better but after a short time they return to their old ways and carry on as though God did not exist.

It is no surprise to us when they turn away from religion for we know that it is their lot to walk that path just as it is your lot to follow your star and try to enlighten all life that God is good.

Mentally put yourselves in their shoes, and look at them again knowing what you know and you will find that most of them are not so bad after all and in fact a great many of them are kind and gentle and helpful to those who are close to them.

Send them your love and good wishes for they ask for nothing more.
