Sitting 70: Comforting the upset

Dearest friend we are here tonight in love and in truth to continue with our instruction by your hand.

There are times as you walk this path when you meet someone who is upset by the circumstances they are going through. They will unburden themselves to you and for the most part you will not know what to say to them. But have you noticed that as they leave you they are of a better state of mind than when you met them. This is due to the effect that they have, by talking to you, got things a little straighter in their minds. The fact that they have laid it all out to you has in fact laid it out for them and they feel better within themselves for doing so.

Sometimes you will find yourself giving them advice even though you do not know where that advice came from. Most times you will just stand and listen to them and as you leave them you wonder why you had nothing to say. In both cases you are being led by spirit to help them in the best way you can so do not be concerned that you may have said the wrong thing or that you should have said something. The very fact that you were there for them has acted as a healing process for them and as you should know Healing Always Works so be glad you were given the opportunity to help them and know that their resolve will be a little stronger as they walk away
