Sitting 74: Learning from failure
At some time in your life you will experience failure and there are some of you who will constantly fail most of the things you try to do. There is much that you can learn from your failures, even if it is only how to pick yourself up and try again.
Some of you are devastated when things do not work out as you had planned and others just take it in their stride and turn straight away to something else.
The lessons that you learn from failure are so very important, as are your reactions to them, and this is why they keep recurring so that you will, eventually, react to them in a way that is calm and considerate of those who have also been affected by your failure.
If you can but learn to accept that what has happened is done and finished with and even though it may or may not have been your fault there is nothing you can do about it then the sooner you will pick up the threads of your life and start moving forward again.
Remember dear siblings that there is nothing more damaging in this life than a harsh thought. A harsh thought is like a vat of acid, corrosive, destructive, and something to keep well away from.
We all fail at times, but it is not the failure that matters but how you react to it.
