Sitting 79: Life on other planets
Beloved friends we would come to you again in love and in service to you for today we would point out the sun and the moon and all of the other planets and satellites of this our solar system.
We would first point out that there is life on all of the physical bodies of which the solar system is composed. We would also point out that this is the only planet to have a carbon oxygen based life, therefore it is the only one to have seas of water.
This life that we talk of on the other planets is such that you could not recognise it as such until a few short years ago. Now of course man is learning slowly that he is not the only life in the universe and by the end of this twenty-first century he will know that this life exists.
The trouble with your scientists has been their strict adherence to the physical facts and the need to be able to physically prove everything before they can accept certain truths. They, as many others, will not accept evidence of life after death because, they say, it cannot be proved. And yet having said this they will steadfastly refuse to go where such personal proof can be obtained, even though there are many people who have received this personal proof.
We can only say to them. If you wish to draw water then go to the well.
