Sitting 90: Soul mates

Beloved brother it is our pleasure tonight to speak to you of those who are soul mates on the earth plane.

Many of you understand that soul mates are spirits who are joined in love to the exclusion of all others and that you are like this both in the spirit planes and also on the earth plane

This is an easily understandable misconception because whilst you are on the earth it is actually true. In this heterosexual society that we live in it is natural for you to think in this way but in the land of spirit you are in a society which is different in so far as you can be either if you wish and you can be neither, which is the most common state, and we would point out that you come to the earth in both female and male forms.

Soul mates are bound together by their love for each other but there are others whom you love and you will grow, or have grown, to love them just as much as your earthly soul mate. The love that you have for another on the earth is based, more or less, on your physical attraction to one another and this love that you have will continue in the spirit realms, but when you have cast off the physical restrictions placed upon you then you discover that there are many more whom you love just as strongly.

The many many levels of spirit, which many of you call group souls, are together there because you are all on the same level of evolvement and as they say ‘Like attracts Like’ so you remain close to each other. But, we all develop at different rates and as we progress so we temporarily lose some of our siblings as they go to a higher level and we ourselves will leave behind some of our friends as we progress to a higher level.

We do not love them any less because they are not there with us, in fact we will, because we have evolved a little more, love them even more than we did.

Our beloved Creator loves all of us, his children, equally and as we progress so we will learn to love all of our siblings equally. You yourself know dear brother that to meet a soul mate on the earth does not mean that you will live the rest of your lives together. It does happen, but many times circumstances arise that prevent you from doing this and when this happens you learn vital lessons similar to those that you learn when your partner passes through the veil before or just after your intended marriage.

So many things upon this earth are sent to try us, and they do, but we in spirit have the knowledge why you need to go through them and you do not, but that does not mean to say that all of them are bad, so we would say look forward to the rest of your life here, take all of the happiness that you can and know that many of your siblings who love you are with you constantly throughout this life so that you may glean the last crumb of knowledge in this incarnation.
