Sitting 96: The path of truth

Beloved friend it is good to be with you again for tonight we would look at the path of truth that each of us should walk. The individual path of truth of each and every one of us should have certain basic structures enfolded within it and these should guide us in such a way that the experiences we come upon lead us to a finer, more gentle view of our way of life.

First there should be a leaning towards friendship of everyone we meet. It matters not that they are disinclined to return your friendship for they are on a different path to yourself and could, through their experiences, be distrustful of everyone. In these cases we should ensure that we are trustworthy to the last dot.

Another thing to remember is their idea of their truth is different to yourself and you must allow for this in your contact with them.

You only have to look at the different sects of the different religions to begin to realise the wide gaps which run between the different lines of truth which abound throughout the earth and having realised this you will then, if you continue to investigate it, come to realise the finely honed differences of the truths within the sects themselves.

Do you not feel confounded by these tiny and great differences. How can it be that one person accepts as truth what another accepts as blasphemy. How can it be that one person will change his way of life and his truth half way through his life and, in many cases, carry on as though it never happened.

The answer beloved siblings is so profound and yet so simple that the explanation is quite unbelievable to the common way of thinking and it is.

It matters not what you believe, it only matters that you believe.
