Sitting 99: Earthly troubles

As we walk through this life there are so many things which trouble those of you who tread the earth life and all of them are solely connected to the life on the physical plane. You hear so many stories which are told by those who imagine what it is like in the afterlife and you are also told many stories by those who are in spirit. They are told in all honesty and are all quite true for the recipients of these messages, but, they are not all true for everyone who hears about them second-hand.

We have mentioned before that those who believe the afterlife will be a certain way then it will be that way for them when they pass through the veil. We would remind you again that their perception of life will slowly change until they perceive life as it really is. The reason for this is that if they were to suddenly find they were wrong it would be a great shock to them and could in certain cases undo much of their advancement during their latest life on the earth. They therefore, as we said, discover things slowly that their thoughts need adjusting. So we would ask you not to be pedantic when you meet someone with a different view to your own. Accept what they say and their belief, even though you know it to be different. Remember dear siblings that we are all different and these seeming differences in spirit teaching are allowing for our own personal differences so that we may evolve in our own separate ways.
