Sitting 106: A rising tide of understanding

As we gather this evening we would like to talk of the rising tide of understanding which is spreading the word of spirit among the people of the earth.

There have been many past times on the earth when man has begun to realise that there is more to life than the life on earth and we have watched the progress of the various civilisations as they progressed towards spiritual realisation.

We of course were not there to witness these things ourselves but we have been enlightened by those who were there and who have since passed into higher levels of spirit. They send their thoughts to us just as we send our thoughts to the mediums who give evidence of life after physical death. In fact their thoughts are so much clearer to us because there is no physical mind to contend with and their thoughts are therefore purer.

We watch the present occupants of earth as they grow closer to the spirituality of life and though you are still having wars and conflagrations they are only of importance to the physical side of your life.

To our side of life the most important things are not how you die, nor is it why you die, what is important is the lessons that you learn from your death.

We seem to harp on about the lessons you must learn and we do not tell you what they are but we have said before that if you knew what they were then they would be of no use to you so please try to accept that this is how things are and take everything which comes along in your stride and you will find yourself in the position of being more philosophical in your approach to these events.
