Sitting 121: Earthly law and spiritual law

Beloved brother there are things in this life of ours which have no comparison with your understanding of life on the physical plane just as there are different lives and standards by which we live. When you break the law on the earth you know that you may be subject to retribution for what you have done and that you may be incarcerated or fined according to the law of the land. On our side of the veil there is no court which you can be taken to for punishment but you will, in the course of things, be punished by yourself with feelings of remorse and regret for whatever you have done and you yourself will remain unhappy about it until you have made amends for what you did. These feelings of remorse and regret are also felt by you for the things that you do whilst on the earth and again you will be unhappy about these things as well until you make amends for them. On the earth you will make some people annoyed or angry and there may even be those who have hatred of you and your actions. In the world of spirit these feelings directed towards you will be of sorrow and regret that you have let yourself down.

Always remember beloved sibling that there is no money in the spiritual realms but you WILL be paid for everything you do and for everything you say and even for everything you think whether you are on the physical or the spiritual plane.

Remorse and regret can be much more wounding than Lash or Lance.
