Sitting 157: Trying and failing

There are many times during your path on earth when you must learn to trust others whom you know and to accept what they say and do without the security of knowing that they will not fail you. Then there are times when you must accept that what they say is correct even when you yourself have no knowledge of the subject at hand. Sometimes you find, to your cost, that they are wrong and at others you find that your trust in them was justified.

There are times when you must trust your own judgement and once again sometimes you are right and at others you are wrong. When things go well you chalk up your successes and when they go wrong you try to fathom out what went wrong and try to ensure that the same thing will not recur and shy away from taking such risks in the future.

We would point out at this stage that to try something out and to fail at it is not something to be ashamed of.

We would also draw your attention to the fact that should you not try to make a success of any project which has a reasonable chance of success then you will fail to a greater degree than if you do nothing about it.

We would remind you again that failure is sometimes the lesson, therefore failure to attempt it would be the real failure in this case.
