Sitting 283: The birds of the air

Beloved Brother it is good to be with you once again for our work is gaining in strength and tonight we would speak of the birds of the air as they travel over the expanse of the earth.

It is surprising how similar the life of us humans and the life of the birds follows such a similar pathway for not only are we small and helpless when we are first born as the chicks of the nest, we also grow slowly to maturity as we and they reach adulthood. We begin looking for mates, we take the same lines of life where some will sow their wild oats and ignore the results of copulation as we flit from one mate to the next on our pathway through life.

There are others of both birds and humans who will mate for life and will only change partners with the death of one of the pair. They will both nurture and feed their young until they are fit to fend for themselves and go off to find their own life, and the next spring they will start all over again.

Can you not see the similarities of the animals, including humans, and the birds. There are countless variations we know but remember that there are countless spirits who all go different ways but the basis of our lives are the same.
